When you contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email to enquire about or book our CCTV installation services, we may collect the following information:

Name and contact details — Your phone number and WhatsApp number so we can communicate with you about your booking.
Property address — The location where you need CCTV installation, so our technician can visit for a site survey.
Security requirements — The details you share about the type and number of cameras, coverage areas, and any specific features you need.
Payment details — UPI transaction IDs, bank reference numbers, or payment receipts to confirm your booking payment. We do not collect or store your bank account numbers, card numbers, or UPI PINs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to us only for the purposes of delivering our CCTV installation services. Specifically:

To schedule and conduct a free site survey at your property.
To prepare and send you an accurate, itemised installation quotation.
To confirm your booking and assign a technician to your project.
To send your warranty card, service completion certificate, and invoice via WhatsApp.
To provide after-installation support if you contact us with a service issue.
To send you reminders about your Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) if applicable.
To comply with applicable laws and regulations in India.

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, cold calling, or selling to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in connection with our website and business:

WhatsApp — Our main communication channel. When you click our WhatsApp link, you leave our website and interact with the WhatsApp platform, which is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms. SecureEye does not control how WhatsApp handles your data.
Google Ads — We run advertisements on Google to reach potential customers. Google may place cookies on your browser to show you relevant ads based on your visit to our website. If you prefer not to receive personalised ads, you can opt out at adssettings.google.com.
Google Fonts — Our website loads fonts from Google's servers. When you visit our site, your browser may send your IP address to Google to load the fonts. This is standard web behaviour and is governed by Google's privacy policy.

We do not share your personal information (name, phone number, address) with any of these third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

Our website is served over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption), which means all data transmitted between your browser and our website is encrypted.
We do not store your personal data on any external cloud servers or third-party databases.
Customer information (names, phone numbers, addresses) is stored securely by our internal team on password-protected devices.
Only authorised team members involved in your service delivery have access to your information.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your contact and booking information for a period of 2 years from the date your installation is completed. We keep this information for the following reasons:

To honour our 1-year workmanship warranty if you need to make a claim.
To provide AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services and reminders if you opt in.
To maintain a record of the service for any future support requests.

After 2 years, your personal data is permanently deleted from our records. You can request early deletion at any time (see Section 6).

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding the personal information we hold about you:

Right to Access — You can ask us what information we have about you, and we will provide it within 7 working days.
Right to Correction — If any information we hold is incorrect, you can ask us to update it.
Right to Deletion — You can ask us to delete all your personal data from our records at any time. We will do so within 14 working days, except where we are legally required to retain it.
Right to Withdraw Consent — If you previously agreed to receive messages from us, you can withdraw that consent at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing us.

7. Cookies

Our website does not place any first-party tracking cookies on your browser. However, the third-party services we use (Google Ads and Google Fonts) may set their own cookies when you visit our site. These cookies are used by Google to show you relevant advertisements and to load web fonts.

When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. If you decline, Google Ads personalisation will not apply to you. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings or opt out at adssettings.google.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18 years and above) and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. Data Transfers

All customer data is stored and processed in India. We do not transfer your personal information to servers or entities outside of India. The only exception is when you interact with third-party services like WhatsApp or Google, which may process data on their own global servers according to their own privacy policies.

10. Business Transfers

If SecureEye is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such a case, we will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
